| |
| I started modeling a diamond just out of idle interest and slowly it developed into this image. This is my first real look into caustics in Maya and doing a realy high quality photoreal render. |

| |
| This was a textureing assignment from university, the model was provided and i have textured, lit and rendered it in Maya and Mental Ray. |

Dodge Challenger |

| |
| This is my second university modeling assignment. Rendered out of maya with Mental Ray with image based lighting. Modeling took around two weeks to complete on and off. |

| 1940s Façade |
| |
| |
| This model is my first university modeling assignment. All modeling and texturing is done in Maya using mental ray to render an Ambient Occlusion pass and the final image. This was also my first use of the layered texture node for Maya which instantly gave me an error of not working with mental ray, resolved by using mix8 layered shader to achieve the same effect. |

This model was my first experiment with organic modelling in Maya, mostly done by following tutorials and guess work.
The render is done with Maya Software Render using the default Lambert texture and the wireframe using a snapshot of the UVs as the Incandescence Map. |

| Coke Can HDRI Render |
| |
| |
| This is a render I did while looking at HDRI environment maps to simulate the lighting on an object. The object in question being my reasonably low poly Coke Can, which was modelled in Autodesk Inventor rather than in 3DS Max where it was rendered, which is what has lead to the somewhat dense mesh on import. As for the texture of the Can I got a real can and rolled it along my scanner as it scanned (keeping it on top of the scan bar) therefore unwrapping the texture off the can into an image file which I then went over with Photoshop. |

| Water Prison |
| |
| |
| These images were designed as stills using Poser Pro and 3DS Max for modelling and rendering in mental ray with caustics for the water effects. The concept for this sequence came from the TV show "Prison Break" where the protagonist swims up a sewer pipe filled with water. |

| School Yard |
| |
| |
| This was modelled in Autodesk Inventor and then imported into 3DS Max for rendering. I wanted to make this school feel like a negative place to be by having lots of repeating windows and a overall 'grey' atmosphere to the image. Cloth dynamics were used on the flag over the door. This scene ultimatly went into my final project at college. |

| Dell TFT Monitor |

| |
| This was a model I made for my Multimeida course at college to demonstrate modelling skills, it was modelled using Autodesk Inventor and rendered using 3DS Max, and guess where the texture came from... As with all of my Inventor models this model has a exceedingly high poly count from being imported. |

| 19th Century Building |

| |
| This was a modelled in Autodesk Inventor and rendered in Max using mental ray. The trees and environment were added in Max for a photoreal render sometime in the future. |
